Brazed Diamond Core Drill Bit for marble, limestone, sandstone, glass, and porcelain 

  M14 or 5/8"-11 fitment for direct connection to 115mm or 125mm angle grinders. Designed to operate dry at speeds in excess of 10,000rpm.

  Suitable for cutting any hard material including Ceramic, Porcelain, Marble, Granite, Engineered stone, Concrete or Brick. In fact these diamond bits will drill pretty much anything you can throw at them, however their lifespan in very dense materials such as porcelain or granite can be reduced.

 These bits are a shorter version of our red VB Holesaw aimed more towards tilers who are generally drilling material that is 20mm thick or less.

An M14 or 5/8"-11 to Hex adapter is available to convert these bits for use in standard drill chucks, making the bits dual use. However if you do want to use these on a drill they are better run at full speed on a corded drill, cordless battery drills tend to run to slow and they will likely reduce the lifespan of the bit and the speed at which the holes are drilled.

The HEX shank Easy Coupling makes these perfect for use in a drill, they will even lock in to driver bits to extend the length of the drill bit to reach awkward areas.

Can comfortably drill 20 or more holes in the hardest grade 5 porcelain.

Allow the drill and the rotation to cut the hole, don't lean on these bits like you would a masonry drill.

Never use the hammer action it will destroy the diamond tip. Use at around 2000 – 3000rpm. That's generally that fastest speed on a drill driver.

Sizes 6mm to 14mm are wax filled. 16mm, 18mm & 20mm are not wax filled. We found at these larger diameters the core tended to get stuck in the wax.
